How To Submit
What We Accept
We are currently accepting:
- Original short stories - Especially fantasy of any kind!!
- Flash Fiction
- Unpublished pieces
- Previously published works (as long as you own the rights)
Word Count: 300 - 7,000 words (Longer works may be considered - just ask!)
What We Don't Accept
- AI-generated fiction
- Plagiarized work
- Work you don't own the rights to
- Hate speech, explicit content in any way, shape, or form
- Anything violating major publishing guidelines
- Horror
You Keep All Rights
You retain 100% ownership of your work.
By submitting, you simply grant permission for your story to be published on the website. You may request removal at any time.
No Fees. No Payment Required.
Submission is free, and there are no reading fees! This platform is to help writers gain visibility, not a commercial publication.
How To Submit
Send an email to: info@fictionden.com
Include:
- Your name (pen names welcome!)
- Title of your story + genre
- STORY MUST BE PASTED IN THE EMAIL. Any attachments will go unopened!!)
- A short author bio (optional but recommended)
- Any links you want included (your website, Goodreads, Instagram, etc.)
- Your explicit conformation that you own the rights to the story and are giving permission for it to be posted:
Example:
"I confirm that I am the copyright owner of (Your Story Title) and give permission for it to be published on Fiction Den."
What Happens Next
- You'll get an email confirmation within 2-4 days
- If accepted, I'll send you a simple publishing permission form
- Your story will be formatted and posted on the site
- You can ask for edits or removal at any time
